This strap is made of a durable, strong material that won't feel comfortable, but will likely never wear out. It was scratched for 48 hours - hung in a closet most of the time so should scratch very easily. It was a bummer. The strap comes very long with the idea that you will trim it to fit. I cut it too short and now it doesn't. I used my old belt as a guide so I don't know how it happened. I know it's my fault but I wish they could just sell small, medium and large or by waist size like everyone else instead of relying on the customer cutting it. Now I have a few days and it's too short and scratched so I regret not buying it. Unless you're a super-perfect surveyor and graceful with your buckles, I wouldn't recommend this.
