Review on Phone Holder For Toyota Rav4 by Luis Shreibman
The customization to the RAV4 dash is great but I've bought 2 now and they both break the same way.
Installation was easy. A tool is included to pry off the instrument panel trim and push in the holder base. I also liked the flexibility of positioning the holder. The first one I bought was in October 2019 and it lasted until October 2020 when it broke. I liked the position of this holder so I immediately bought another one. This second one clicked the same way I had the retainer adjusted (on the curved parts that go into the dash panel). Obviously this part of the device is a weak point and needs to be strengthened if it happened twice. Next time I will order another brand.
