Review on Nikwax Leather Waterproofing Wax, 3.4 oz by Carrie Spencer

I use this impregnation for my Merrell hiking shoes. After getting wet feet in heavy rain I called Merrell to ask what waterproof product I got, they recommended it. The girl I spoke to said she had never been asked before so she consulted someone out there and told me that Nikwax is the best waterproofing product available because it can be applied to wet skin and prevents further moisture penetration. As the boots dried, the evaporating water really helped pull the Nikwax into the leather. She was absolutely right! This is now the only waterproofing product I use. I recommend Nikwax for all leather items. I also use it for my leather gloves.
