Does the job well.

Overall I am happy with my purchase. My initial goal was to buy a case that I could clip to my belt or webbing so I could walk through the woods and carry an extra lens. I usually like to take a telephoto lens and a wide-angle lens for different landscapes/nature. I don't need a bulky backpack and this Lowepro lens case is lightweight and small enough to make it very easy to hike with. I wanted one big enough to fit my Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM lens. The Lowepro lens case lists the dimensions as [internal] 3.5 x 3.5 x 5.1 inches, and my lens is 5.6 inches long. Let me tell you, you might think that Β½ inch wouldn't make much of a difference, but it's a very tight fit. Appropriate, but hardly. The bag is also roomy enough for me to fit my lens hood from back to front. Not a penny more space, but it fits. I strongly recommend that you carefully measure the lenses you intend to use this case with. I am happy with the purchase but if I did it again I would probably see that I could find a little more. But the product is not to blame. It appears to be very well padded, well constructed and lightweight.
