The quality was a little intimidating compared to the price; but it's strong, functional, attractive; very important. I had to raise my 50" LG Smart TV by about 10" to accommodate the center speaker, but I didn't want to drill holes in the wall. The tabletop seemed like a better alternative to building a platform, and it worked pretty well. Despite the initial appearance, installation was easy. When I laid out all the equipment, my wife laughed; say it will be a night project. In the end I just had to choose the four screws that fit my TV and ignore the rest. Setup is easy, the TV is easy to install. The speaker fits nicely on the support platform, and I've freed up all of the desk space that the TV used to take up. A few bonuses: height adjustment and a cable to mount the TV to the back of the countertop or wall. Problem: A horizontal bar is obscuring the audio and video jacks on the back of the TV. Luckily I connected everything to the amp with a cable. But I would have to do some mechanical gymnastics to connect other cables to the back of the TV.
