This item is MUCH better quality than I expected. You can tell this is a very well built piece. This is to replace the crappy plastic T-adapter that came with our bidet. I was worried this wouldn't work because the plastic would still be attached to the metal due to the plastic twists to tighten and attach the hoses to the new metal tee, but it worked like a charm and was very easy and quick without additional effort installed. Tool. It's been a week now and there have been no leaks or hoses like twice with this plastic tee. I'm glad I bought it, although it was a little more than I was willing to pay for it. In addition, the check valve is also a good addition and very smooth-running. We didn't have this option before.
