Gorgeous Prism Doop!

Attention all artists and colorists, this is a great fool's prism! I'm a dry media artist if I don't clean up by 9-5. I love it. I've been a die-hard Prisma fan my whole life and they COULD become my new favorites. I want to respond to some of the negative reviews I see. It's not a prism, but REALLY close. Mixability is present if you are an experienced dry media artist. In other words, if you know what you're doing, they can easily be mixed up. THE COLORS ARE ALL DIFFERENT. I see a lot of reviews scolding them for having too many similar colors. If you can't see the difference between the colors, that's your problem, not the pencil's. I read somewhere that some people just don't see as many colors as others, maybe that explains why some people complain about the similarities between reds. Each color scheme has cold and warm tones. They are all unique colors. Believe me. Be careful with soft pencils. Don't drop them on the floor, store them carelessly and sharpen them roughly and you won't have broken sticks. Again, this is the user's fault, not the pens' fault. Cons: No open stock (to my knowledge) to add to the collection, not as soft as a prism but close enough (my prism smudges anyway). Need an instruction manual for information for people who are new to soft pens. Bottom line: if you're a hungry artist, or want to consider yourself one, and want cheap Prism knockoffs, buy these. But only if you don't complain that you can't distinguish cold and warm tones of the same color and know how to use soft-tipped colored pencils.

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • No performance
