I bought a "universal" charger for three times the price of this one at best because I needed something ASAP and apparently that's the only thing they have. We will only charge my laptop up to 80% and no further. So I ordered this for my laptop and it works great, just as good as the original but with a much better connector design. The problem with my original charger is that the input jack/plug broke in half just from bumping into it. We think this replacement has the best design because it's L-shaped, so the input connector doesn't stick out an inch like the original charger. It charges my laptop fairly quickly and didn't notice too much overheating. And it looks cool with the blue power indicator. I sent back the expensive "universal" charger and am very happy with this replacement.
