Works great as a lapping stone.
It works like a lapping stone for my other water stones and does its job very efficiently. It does not clog and is easy to clean. It is much cheaper than other leveling stones and of course it can also be used for rough grinding. This was recommended to me by a tool sharpener (customer) at the Woodcraft Store. I am happy about the recommendation and this purchase and recommend it to others.
