Review on Tripp Lite PV375 Blue Car Power Inverter - 375W Auto Inverter, Ultra Compact with 2 Outlets by Mike Goodwin

He whines and whistles, but he does his job!

This Tripp Lite inverter gets the job done, despite howling and whistling. I've tested it in my office with a 244w load from three pedestal fans at high speed and it copes well with a car battery. I even used it in an extreme camp we organized for the youth in our church, an open camp on a piece of land without electricity. The actual test was with a 1500 lumen Viewsonic projector and a 15W Fender guitar amp. It has done a great job with both the Roadpro 12v Battery Adapter and Cigarette Lighter and the RoadPro RP-203EC 12v 12v Extension Cable with Nissan Pathfinder Battery Cigarette Lighter Plug. The only downside was that the hour long film ran out of battery and I had to replace it during the event and leave it running after the event, but it's an excellent inverter nonetheless. Beware of cheap DIY cables, fire hazard etc.! If you plan on getting heavy loads from an inverter, I recommend the TrippLite range of workhorse inverters, such as the B. the Tripp Lite APS750 inverter. I have a TrippLite APS1012 at home for standalone installation (I only unplug during a power outage, which is common in the Dominican Republic). However, these APS inverters require a different installation.
