This was officially the third set of rotors on my 2008 GMC Savana 2500 with 40,000 miles. These cars seem to have a lot of shaking problems when the rotors get hot. I believe the load configuration can also play a role in this. This is the first car I've had with smooth, good braking - until the brakes warm up and not much boost is required in my case. This is a common problem and if you're reading this, it helped me. Almost a month has passed and the severe shaking has gone. I installed them using UD784 pads. The OEM pads, while not badly worn, were fatigued and cracked from the heat. A fresh install looks different for me. I've never had a rotor like this before. You can hear and feel that in the van (the feet push further forward), maybe also in other vehicles. This is more pronounced when heated, but still does not cause any discomfort. Is a luxury car elegant? no You can feel how the brakes are working β and skillfully at that. If I have a reason to update my review, but so far so good.
