Beautiful film, beautiful rainbows.

So this is going to be an in-depth review. Get some popcorn and have a seat. I wanted to do a project during the quarantine and it seemed interesting enough to me. This film comes in a tall box and rolls up like wallpaper or a poster. I will say it smells strongly of plastic so bear that in mind if you are sensitive to the smell. I didn't really care, but hey, I thought I'd let you know. Now for the first reactions: When I first pulled the foil over to see what it looked like, it was almost transparent. It didn't get that nice slightly opaque look until maybe 40-50 inch film. I'm not sure if this is normal, but it seemed like a waste of time. Although it was nice when I got to the opaque parts. I couldn't wait to hang it on the window. Application: God, that mess was difficult. For example harder than my SATs a few years ago. Let's start from the beginning; I washed my window with Windex and then splashed lukewarm water on the window (not sure if temperature matters). Seems easy until you later need to peel off the backing of the film. Until you get the hang of it, it's a pain in the ass. I, an adult, had to call my little brother to help me remove the foil from my back and even they had to work about 10 minutes on each corner to succeed. But it was a good communication experience. Once you finally get it clean, it makes a loud cracking noise. You have to be careful that the foil does not collapse by itself, otherwise it will stick a little. Once you've got it on the window, it's pretty easy from there. I recommend measuring a little on purpose and then using a box cutter once you have it to get an accurate cut. At least my windows are great. When I looked at the street and couldn't go outside I started to get depressed but now I see a bunch of rainbows and it's amazing. I have included some photos of what the windows look like during the day and at night so you can get an idea. If you are looking for an interesting project with a satisfactory return on investment, then you have come to the right place.
