Review on Exploring the Essence of Posse: A Spotlight on Mario Van Peebles by Tim Thomason

Dopest Wokest Western Ever

Dopest Wokest Western Ever. There is nothing amazing about this film. There is a story that is not taught in school. It features the sneaky Billy Zane with an eye patch that looks like a pirate. It's thrown in Big Daddy Kane, Ton Lok, Isaac Hayes, the timeless Pam Grier and even brother Baldwin to comic relief. He's got a Gatlin gun! Watching the 2016 remake of The Magnificent Seven, you can clearly see Posse's seminal influence on this film, from writing to casting to acting. It's basically an unawakened version of Posse cut out of all the tough women, black settlers and cowboys, which takes all of her heart and soul. So skip the 2016 remake of The Magnificent Seven and watch Posse instead.
