Review on 63 3059 AirCharger Performance Intake System by Mike Snedeker

I used a short K&N piston on my 04 SRT-4 and thought it would be a good choice for my 06 Impala SS. Installation turned out to be much easier than the instructions might make it seem. All in all it took about 1 hour 15 minutes hood to hood. Don't really notice an increase in MPG, but that could be due to the wonderful sound it makes when you pedal! Notice the increase in midrange power and the engine runs smoother overall. Be careful though, you can get intermittent engine lights. You may need to clean the MAF (cone filter oil) sensor or simply reset the engine control computer.
