Review on ⚡ Magnetic Wireless Charging Adapter for Easy Charging by Jamal Gignilliat

Hold/Grip = Good --- Charge = Meh

Installed on my 2013 F-150 to replace a similar universal mount. For use with the iPhone 13 Pro Max in Apple's signature transparent MagSafe case. Here is a list of pros and cons, judge for yourself! Pros: - My dashboard is very textured, but I didn't have to use the smooth drive mount that came with it. As long as it holds tight and doesn't come off the dashboard. It actually comes with a vent mount as well as a suction cup. A pleasant surprise! My phone's case is very slippery and it's the largest phone Apple makes, but this mount holds securely and I'm not worried about my phone falling off. It held up well even on our extremely crappy/bumpy Louisiana roads. - I love the adjustability this mount allows for. - Good looking and made of high quality plastic. CONS: - Ability to charge sucks. I seriously doubt that the performance figures quoted are correct. When I use my phone for GPS (Waze or Apple Maps) it hardly maintains the same battery level. Even when my screen is off and I'm not using my phone at all, it charges very slowly. I tried replacing the end of the power adapter with another brand that charges my phone very well through the cable and it scored. A bit faster, but not enough to consider it sufficient. I suspect the problem is with both the 12V power supply and the wireless charging end. While the flexibility of adjustment is amazing, the mount can bounce/vibrate a bit in some positions due to the lack of support/weight of the phone. No problem when the arm is fully down to get extra support from the base. (That's how mine is.) - The ball joint (how the wireless charging head connects to the base) works well but could be firmer/sturdier. I tightened it as tight as I could, but it still rotates fairly easily, especially when removing the phone from the mount. Overall I would give the mount a 9 out of 10 but only a 4 out of 10 for the chargeability. In my case, it's still worth it just because I can literally just slam the phone in and don't have to fiddle with the spring-loaded universal mount arms. Also, anyone who says it won't hold up is either defective or using a regular case. YOU MUST USE THE MAGSAFE COVER FOR THESE FEATURES! It's not rocket science, putting a sheet of plastic between two magnets weakens their attraction, huh! MagSafe cases (brand cases, at least) have an extra layer of magnets built into the case so you don't lose your grip!
