My hair is long, thick, coarse, wavy and generally unruly. I was looking for a good sharp pair of scissors to cut my hair at home to avoid split ends. They do their job. However, I had several problems. They are sharp but not complete. Upon closer inspection I saw light scratches on the blade and a small gap between the blades when viewed from above which may have affected performance. Also, the scissors made strange noises when cutting my hair (hard to explain, but the only way I can describe it is paper getting caught between the blades of a pair of dull scissors, which could be due to my hair getting caught on some parts of the blade). Also, my fingers hurt after 5 minutes, not the most comfortable grip. Update: The folks at Rough Stache were kind enough to contact me and offer a full refund. Impressed with how they care about their customers and their satisfaction. Would buy from them again anytime.
