Will he be able to chill the drink? Oh no.

Want a can of soda that's barely cold enough to drink? All you have to do is put the jar in the freezer for 30 minutes and use two igloo ice packs. This means that the capacity of the small bag is exactly one portion. If you can keep it in the fridge all day at work then yes I think it can keep things cold. In terms of real-world usage, this isn't enough.
