Full rat's nest, very rough cuticles made my hair a mess

I hate writing negative reviews but I rely on reviews so I'll be honest. I've been a stylist and salon owner since 2001 and have been wearing extensions myself for over 20 years. We literally tried everything. I have had this problem three times in my life with poor quality hair. I'd like to start by saying this is usually an accident, I don't blame the seller, I blame the source. I've only seen hair that looked amazing in the packaging after we installed it and washed it once or twice to show its true colors. This hair was an absolute rat's nest in my hair. It confuses a ridiculous crowd, it's ALWAYS scary. I have tried Moroccan Oil and various other products and conditioners but the problem was with my hair. Blonde hair extensions can be tricky as there is a lot of processing before packaging and selling. Hair is hair, which means it's unique to the person who sold it and how it reacts to chemical treatments. This hair was strong, but the cuticles were so incredibly rough that they didn't tangle very well. And the tapes are really there, so it's not the easiest system to just slide in and out. I must say that the glue is very good. I've lost a few but my hair is very fine. Tapes are notorious for pulling out fine hairs, so I have a few small stains. Not my system of choice but you may have noticed that it took a very long time to get the package to get quality I top blondes through Amazon. I needed a pack of hair quickly before the holiday. Again I don't blame the seller, I just pulled a short straw and ended up wasting time and money and damaging my hair trying to constantly brush and detangle this bad hair. Guys. Happy shopping!
