True story: Ten years ago, after my annual physical, my cholesterol levels were sky high. My doctor asked me if I used perforated brew coffee filters — filters with tiny holes that purport to enhance flavor ("flavor-enhancing micro-perforations”). I did so I got rid of them and my cholesterol went down. If you no. 4 Unbleached is important, All Natural Cone Filters are my choice. The fact that they're compostable, biodegradable, and responsibly sourced is great, but I love them because they're tasteless, don't tear, and produce pure coffee with only the aroma of the beans shining through.
