Our monthly cable TV package went up by more than $100 without notice, so we decided it was time to stop cable service and upgrade to an indoor antenna. I read online and decided to buy. When we got home we were able to set it up in less than five minutes. We can receive ABC, NBC and CBS as well as some other channels that we didn't receive when we had cable. I went online to one of these sites where we enter our zip code and see a list of channels that should be available in our area with an antenna. With this device we can receive all these channels - even weak signal channels - and more. We are very happy with this purchase. In our house it's behind our TV so we can't see it or the cable at all.
