I chose this coat instead of a travel down jacket, although its versatility makes it a bit bulky and awkward to pack. The lined coat is very warm and the outside is durable to protect against wind and rain. The separately worn lining is very cute and cozy. In warmer weather, outerwear serves as excellent protection from wind and rain. Well described rich burgundy colour. It's not red. I'm 5ft 5in, 140lbs and bought the medium. It has enough room for layers but the sleeves are too long. I can hem them easily so this is the right size for me.
