Review on Enhance Your Aquatic Habitat with TetraFauna Decorative ReptoFilter by Monica Miller

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Just a few things.

I really like this article, but I want to warn people about a few things. First. The holes into which water is sucked for filtering are quite large. I would say between a cent and a cent. I had a small fiddler crab in my aquarium. Keyword"was". He climbed in, then couldn't get out and died. Smelly mess. Which brings me to two. I then tried to block the holes with a small piece of wire mesh, like a kitchen sink faucet strainer. This worked great until they got so clogged that more water was pumped out than was getting in. As soon as the pump sucked out all the water, this rock started floating and then had to tip over, but luckily I was in the room and stopped it. . He might have crushed my little turtle if I hadn't been there. In any case, I hope my review doesn't put anyone off buying this little thing, I really like it. Just don't try to plug the holes and don't keep anything in the tank that could fit through a penny sized hole and you'll be fine.
