Review on Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G Vibration Reduction II Zoom Lens: Auto Focus for Nikon DSLR Cameras by Sean Garrison

Excellent basic lens. It doesn't have much zoom, but that's because it's relatively compact. For some reason the camera body often tells me the lens is not attached, even when it is attached and working. I don't know if the lens or the camera body is to blame. I've learned to just ignore the error message. My only real complaint is that it doesn't have the right focal length for great macros.
