This shelf fits perfectly into the wooden supports in between. We have small wine glasses and I was worried they might slip out or wobble too much. This doesn't happen. Attaching the rack to the top of the closet shelf freed up all the space underneath. To create a finish that matches the shelf, the shelf assembly looks professional - almost as if it was planned from the start. I figured I didn't want to do the staining and top coats and wait for them to dry. But it was worth it. The small plugs were a bit difficult to install. If I had to do it again I would wax them or some other lube so they go in easier. But the tight fit means they're here to stay.
