I have to admit that initially this helmet felt huge, chunky and heavy. By the end of my second trip, my body had gotten used to it. Now my other helmets feel so light and flimsy I don't trust them anymore. I locked my front brakes on loose gravel, got off the bike and went over the bars, landing on the ground and doing a somersault. I don't want to imagine what would have happened without this helmet. It's a comfortable fit once I get used to its bulk which took me two rides I can't comment on the face mask part as I haven't actually used it. Ultimately, I trust this helmet to protect my brain in style and comfort.
