I'm not sure if this is very useful. .

Not sure if it will be useful. The sensors are very short. So when you try to measure the moisture you only get the top of the wood which is usually the driest. I put it in a tree that I know has a high moisture content and it reads zero so I'm not sure if it's worth buying.
