Honestly 3 years of blade making experience and about 5 inexpensive grinders I've bought this is honestly the best Grinder I've used a word of warning, you have to be careful when you're good at working with the backs of your blades or it will just eat away at your blades if you're not careful It also uses a direct drive instead of a secondary drive belt for the power rotation of the belts.. Very convenient What makes it special is that you can put the lever in a horizontal position and use it as a bottom wheel to remove a large amount of material, and then turn the hex wrench to turn it into a vertical one position and you can use its reel. A great machine if you are looking to upgrade your coffee grinder or are just starting out gene. It works with nothing but the included 80 grit straps and I had to use a fine sander to finish the case. I have informed the manufacturer of this issue, give them the leap of faith and say the quality control department missed it.
