I used it after using the Redbook Remover, the instructions for this remover recommended, so I did it. I have orange-red (more orange than red) medium length hair. I used 2 ounces at a time and it was more than enough (maybe next time I'll do 1.5 ounces at a time). After washing my hair, I towel dried it and left it damp but not wet if that makes sense. I applied the mixture and covered my hair with a shower cap, warmed it up with the hair dryer and turned it off for 50 minutes (the maximum time is stated on the packaging). This thing turned my hair blonde! Big! Now I'm waiting for it to dry to color my hair. Lightened my natural hair a bit (dark blonde roots). I would use it again. Oh, I almost forgot! smells! Rschunimagu. The two bottles are labeled 1 and 2. Number 2 has a normal smell, doesn't bother me. Well, number 1, if you've used Color Oops and remember the smell, good thing it smells. Maybe like half the smell? It wasn't as strong when you mixed it into bottle #2, but it still stayed in your hair. The smell went away as soon as I washed my hair.
