I have to agree with almost all 5 initial reviews, this device certainly has some great features. As for some issues with wrong directions, I don't think any of the GPS navigators I've had in the past have been perfect in this regard. In fact, this one always tells me to turn left as I approach the right turn on the freeway slip road that I use every day, but the arrow on the map tells me to turn right, which is what I want to do. I hope the next update fixes that. I'm afraid my biggest issue with this device was the suction cup that came with it. It won't stick for more than a day, I've wiped the cup and glass down with rubbing alcohol and anything else I can think of but it just won't stick. I have another suction cup that I use for my iPhone and it has been stuck since day one and hasn't dropped since and it's been over a year now. Because of this I was looking for a different type of holder for it, thinking I had only found the thing in the CD slot and air vent holders available on the market, but so far I have not been able to find one that can do this suitable for this device. After seeing some of the tablet and iPad holders that were released I figured they would securely hold my GPS, but unfortunately Garmin decided to add some sort of latch to the connector block on the back of this unit, making it roughly in inches . To compound the injury, they also used an El-shaped micro USB connector instead of a straight connector to further increase the thickness of the device. There is a power cable with a built-in antenna for this GPS. When they designed this cable they placed the antenna too close to the connector on the end. For best results, they ask you to place the antenna portion of the cable on the dashboard, but the position of the antenna in the cable prevents you from using outlets that are in your car. If I want my antenna on the dash, I'll have to install another outlet closer to the top of the dash, or maybe find an extension cord for the outlets, which means more cords to contend with in my car.
