Review on 🔒 Enhance Safety and Control with Hopkins 47285 Brake Control by Adam Rogers

Wow, I didn't realize how bad my old brake controller was until I installed the Hopkins Reliance 47285! Easy to install, especially if you have a factory wiring harness. My Ram 2500 came with a tow package. You just need to splice the wires (all wires are clearly labeled), tape, thread and assembly, pretty easy. This device works better than expected. Stops very gently, and to increase or decrease the strength of the trailer brake you don't have to fiddle with the controls all the time, and the display allows for quick adjustments for different load weights or trailers. I'm towing a large 2 horse bogie trailer with a tractor and my buddy's tractor loaded with a small Ford tractor and tons of utility trailers absolutely fine. Highly recommended, I'm glad I didn't listen to my neighbor and invested $150 or more in one of the more expensive units! I have to admit, not the sexiest look but we try to brake properly, lifetime guarantee I suppose, 100% satisfied!
