Should be returned as it did not fit. (They run small, by the way.) I couldn't even buckle them because they were too tight. I'm not that big of a guy. From the outside, the leather is quite sturdy and has a smooth, rubbery texture. It was also an odd width. All in all a cheap looking, poorly designed, cheap leather piece with a few clasps. (Suggestion: if they added an extra set of bars so they could be customized, that would increase desirability by 50%.) This also caused some problems when ordering. Each size is described with exactly the same wording but instead of a single description that would allow you to mark the correct size when it would be easy to order the wrong size, which would confuse the buyer.
