Review on DEEPCOOL GT BK Motherboard Supported by Jathan Louis

As a longtime fan of the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo CPU Cooler, I was very excited when I saw this cooler for sale, so I quickly grabbed it to test it out on my AMD Ryzen 7 1800X. Since not many companies advertise that they work with AM4, this one includes everything IN THE BOX to install directly on your new AMD Ryzen processors and APUs. No additional hardware is required, so you can start cooling your chip with this cooler right away. Once you open the box and cool your chip? Yes. That's exactly what this CPU cooler does. I used an ARCTIC Alpine 64 Plus which kept my system at around 33C on standby and I got to 80C under load. Of course, I rarely run my system at full load, but I did NOT like my CPU hitting those temperatures when I did. The packaging was very good for a cooler and included EVERYTHING needed to install this CPU cooler, even a small tube of thermal paste that I have used on other CPUs. Plus it was a nice bonus in the box. I was a bit skeptical when I saw the fan attachment system but it works fantastic, you put the clip on, place it on the fins and it's secured, nothing more. Easy. The RGB cables were also very good and easy to connect, I'm not a big fan of the included controller but if you have the right case you can mount it outside but I say stick with Aura Sync for RGB. The way they made a small notch in the CPU cooler to route the cables for the RGB board which is at the very top was very cool, they are well hidden and don't stand out from the rest of the unit In the way. After installing this cooler, my temp was amazing, I dropped to 19℃ at idle and 54℃ at max load, I also stressed this for 1 hour at OCCT, and the highest temp I saw was 63℃. I have to say DEEPCOOL has a winner here and I'm going to now look at their cooling options based on the performance of this single item!
