I ordered this coat a size up to make sure I could wear it over a bulky sweater. It's a bit roomy but should be very comfortable over a sweatshirt or sweatshirt. i love the length For me (I'm 5ft 3") it's mid-calf which I'm very happy with. I like that the cuffs are snug and long enough to cover the wrists. left me with an ugly gap between my sleeve and my glove.Of course the Minnesota winter will be a real challenge, but I'm optimistic it will keep me warm.
