Great if you pant and/or don't want to wear sunglasses under the visor

Should have gotten this as soon as I got my HJC CL-17 helmet. I have never put on a visor cap that doesn't fog up. When I rode with the standard clear visor on my helmet, I always opened it at stops and periodically opened the visor while riding to remove some of the fog. I also wore sunglasses under the visor. This was a little frustrating because most of my sunglasses have polarized lenses which made them difficult to see when I was looking at my bike's dashboard. Advertisement. The lenses of my sunglasses caused my bike's display to take on a rainbow of colors, making it difficult to read the speedometer at times. I got this visor, put it right on my helmet after watching a youtube video of the procedure and never looked at my clear visor again. . Even when I'm breathing like sea fog, the visor doesn't fog up, which means I can keep the visor where it needs to be, even at stops when the air isn't circulating in the helmet. This visor ALMOST dims the light, as do my sunglasses, but it's more than enough for me and my eyes are sensitive to bright light at this time of year. Since this works well enough, I no longer wear sunglasses, which means I don't have a rainbow veil obscuring my bike's display! I don't drive at night at this time, so I can't comment on night visibility. . I'm sure I can still see through this visor. But when I can't, I put on my clear visor since it's so easy to swap out and stuff that in one of my bike's saddlebags.
