A few years ago I had a four stage lumbar fusion that ended at S1. The neurosurgeon warned me that I may or may not have problems with my sacroiliac joints as the pressure of the fusion spreads laterally. Two years later, my SIJ is causing me so much grief it feels like someone is stabbing me with a knife. The pain is so severe that I can't sleep more than 2 hours a night. Every step hurts. And then my physical therapist recommended this belt to me... I don't know how I lived without it before. It's very simple but works so amazingly well. I almost ran out of pain meds (hooray!), I sleep in it (I know it's not the sexiest outfit but I don't care right now 😁), I sleep pretty well, can't say 7 hours but I am happy 5+. All in all I would highly recommend this belt to anyone with SIJ pain issues. I am planning to get my mom one for her hip issues and see if it helps her too.
