Review on πŸ‘Ά Merrell Baby Boy's Bare-Steps Hiker for Toddlers by Jason Gopinath

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Part broke after a few weeks of light wear

My feelings are mixed. They seem to fit my wide footed 2.5 year old well enough that he seems less awkward in them than other shoes, but he doesn't seem to like them at all. He's really trying to get rid of her. Maybe he just doesn't like heels, but he has poor ankle stability, so maybe they'll improve his stride and balance. I wish I knew if they really are uncomfortable, but he's too young to tell the truth and they leave no trace of discomfort. My main gripe is that one of the pieces of fabric holding the metal tip piece fell off today. The bungee cable is no longer attached there. I don't see any evidence that it was sewn on, so I'm guessing it's glue and just came loose. I don't think it will affect the functionality of the shoe much, but I expected better quality from Merrell.

Pros
  • Rubber cupsole for durability
Cons
  • Some issues
