Review on πŸ’ͺ BOSTITCH Cordless Framing Nailer BCF30PTB: Unleash Power & Precision in Every Nail by Will Anderson

Revainrating 3 out of 5

ideal for small jobs

I've read a lot of reviews about underpowering. Yes, first I tried nailing some PT blocks to test it out. They were very dry after sitting in my shop for a couple of years and they definitely had problems with nail sinking, but they will work decent enough on fresh Doug 2x4 fir. . Then I realized that there was a switch behind the rafter hook to toggle between 2" on 3" nails and 3 1/4" on 3 1/2" nails. Set it to level 2 and now it's digging nails into my dry PT 2x4. It's hidden behind a rafter hook and I think that's causing problems for people. Of course, it would probably be more convenient to read the instructions, but who has time for that. :) I'm remodeling a kitchen and bath so it's great if I just need to nail blocks for a vinyl pallet or add a few 2x4s for nailers or knock out a wall.
