. Spare chair. How can the same chair be too soft and too hard at the same time, just for small and just for tall people? I hope I can shed some light on why there are so many different reviews from best to worst chair. I'll try! Having only had this chair for about a month I can't tell you how well it is holding up or holding up, but I wanted to clear up some misconceptions. However, if you are used to sitting closer to the front of the chair, as if you were working at a desk or computer, the chair may not be as comfortable. I'm about 5'11" tall and the back of my chair extends about 2". over my shoulders when I recline There is no headrest as others have mentioned, but that was fine with me as my last chair protruded past my shoulders at the same height. When you lean back in a chair, it looks like it has lumbar support for your lower back, but when you lean forward like you're sitting at a desk, you lose that lumbar support. It's hard to explain, but when I lean forward I feel more pressure in my lower back as my back is now closer to where my legs are slightly raised above the waterfall design. Only time will tell how strong or durable this chair is and how comfortable it is after sitting in it for a long time and if my opinion changes I will update this review.
