Review on 🧡 Plastic Cross Stitch Frame Square Embroidery Hoop 11 X 11", White DIY Sewing Tools, Handheld Craft Clip Hoop for Cross Stitching, Quilting, and Sewing by Dawn Fischer

Revainrating 4 out of 5

A little tight for quilting, but great angled construction.

Purchased 11" x 17" Corner design is good - there are no outside connections. This is imperative as the external connections in the snap/clamp part can tear. The 11"x17" size is just right for working with borders and blocks. Lots of stitching in the area without constant adjustment. I also like the 11 x 11 inch size. A bit small on my standard 12" blocks but more manageable than a 17x17" hoop. The reason I give it 4 stars and not 5 is because the long latch/clip sections are too tight. Shorter sections work well. but they are too tight for comfort. Even when embroidering or cross stitching, they can be too tight for my comfort. I used a heat gun and an old towel to loosen the button sections. If you live in a cold climate, if you live in a cold climate, PVC will crack and break as it becomes brittle (I have a few old ones that have never been used but cracked when first used. They were too hard like the one i just bought and the hoop had external connectors - thick towel cracking recipe.
