Review on πŸ’§ Waterproof 24V to 12V 40A DC/DC Voltage Converter Regulator - Cllena 480W Buck Transformer by David Mills

Is 480W enough? suitable for power pack accessories

Would you like to install a 12V or 24V solar system? If more is better then why not 48V? So we wanted to install some 12V sockets as we have had very good luck with them in the past. This device was the easiest way to get our 24v solar system to output 12v. We also have a 12v water pump (although I recently discovered that the same pump is available in a 24v version< sigh>). Connecting this converter to a "load" on our solar controller made it easy to power the outlets and water pump. The pump's maximum output is 10 amps, so 120 watts from this 480 watt converter shouldn't be a problem. OTOH we have a 240v house (Australian regulations) but 120v units are much cheaper. We thought about connecting a 3000W inverter to this converter. Oops. I'm sure you can see the problem.” "The converter works great. The problem is to understand what it is for :-)
