I was happy to find such a long catwalk for our hallway. I like the simple look, I'm not a fan of fancy looks. Shipping was very fast. My kid spilled a drink on it in the first few hours we set it up. We used towels to dry and clean it. When we then entered our house and jogged through downtown, we must have had wet shoes. Areas that got wet from our shoes or a spilled drink remain dark and discolored as if they were still wet. Disappointed that it spoils the look so much. It is clear that runners are exposed to liquids when people walk on them with shoes on. By the time I got the runner, I knew it wasn't machine washable, it could only be spot cleaned. I'm scared to see how bad something else will look spilled on it. If you plan to keep it looking clean and the same color, make sure nothing gets on it. Have people remove their shoes before touching them.
