Bought two for my wardrobe. Two will fit in a standard sized door leaving room for a doorknob. As in the picture Raven. "Over the door” hooks are thin but very strong (perhaps steel?) so they won't interfere with closing the door and won't break in half like plastic hooks. The pockets hold a pair of sandals. Or a massive boot. The pockets are made of a comfortable mesh material that allows air to pass through. You can also hang it on the wall in the closet with two screws. I wouldn't normally talk about these types of products, but I've had so many in the past fall off the door, be an odd size, or fail in some way. This one is perfect. If you need something for your shoes, get it.
