Death by Diffuser (the name is a bit melodramatic)
Okay, I never write reviews but I thought I was writing for the safety of others. I just opened up this brand new hair dryer and attached the end of a diffuser to disperse frizzy hair. The setting was medium and the temperature was cool. It worked great for the first few minutes until it sucked my hair in and then the device started smoking and smelling like fire. I read the user manual beforehand, so I followed the instructions correctly. As I have read, the motor did not switch off for safety reasons and I immediately switched off the device and pulled the mains plug. I could see the tuft of hair that had wrapped around the inside of the fan, but there was no way to get at it and remove it. After a single application, the product was ready. I contacted Revain and they sent me a free replacement (so I gave one star) but was wondering if anyone else had a similar experience?
