I've always been a fan of very cheap waterproof watches since I was on the swim team and was a lifeguard. I usually use a Timex marathon watch, but this time I chose the Armitron. This watch probably lasted about as long (just over 1 year) but one thing that is very noticeable about the watch is the discoloration. The discoloration started shortly after I started wearing the watch, but then again, I never take my watch off, not even in the shower. A few other issues I've had lately are the strap has snapped on the inside and the loop holding the strap has come loose which is very annoying with the long flap. I also noticed that the watch scratches very easily on both the dial and the bottom. I also sweated a bit after a trip to the beach recently. I would definitely recommend this watch if you have low standards for looks and low expectations for durability because I really liked all the features and it really did its job.
