Connected this fan to my computer. In the photos, this fan is PWM controlled and lets it spin at 10% (1,000 rpm), 25% (2,000 rpm) and 100% (5,000 rpm). Setting the fan curve for this fan in the MSI B450 Tomahawk Max BIOS is quite easy. You really don't need to increase the speed above 50% unless your motherboard etc gets very hot. Great fan and as loud as any when the speed is controlled. Also, the fan is quite thick, so you might not be able to place it in certain places. Update: There is a new x570 Aorus Elite motherboard and the fan is still running like clockwork. I got the fan for its performance and you can really just throw an RGB halo at it and bam! RGB fan lol.
