Nearly perfect. for computers and accessories

First, this device is much smaller than I thought. It's good! I am like many other reviewers. I live in a 3 bedroom duplex house with a wifi router on the top floor in the south front corner of the house. We swayed on a Wi-Fi band in our backyard, constantly keeping our phones pointed at our slider to get the tiny signal to complete the image we uploaded. Needless to say it was very uncomfortable. Also, our Smart TV was downstairs in the back of the house too. This is unlikely to work for Netflix or Amazon streaming. Why Smart TV? Well, I took this extension cord and prepared it. Ordered yesterday morning, received today. gotta love prime Setup was pretty quick. Plug in, turn on Find and connect. I used my Nexus 7 tablet for this. Basically you just have to choose what it will be used for (I used the Wi-Fi extension) and then enter your network name and password. Then he takes a test. I've placed it down the hall where it's getting a decent signal. The signal strength was tested at 67%. Then I confirmed and connected. Boom! Everything is ready. Once set up, I get full Wi-Fi bands in the backyard on the repeater network. Yes, it is different from your home WiFi. My brother said his phone charged a little slower but I didn't notice anything. Everything was lightning fast. Of course I connected it to a Smart TV. I connected Netflix and there were no problems. He also gets full stripes. My guess is that full bands on the Wi-Fi extender is 67% for my home WiFi. Either way, it works! Why not five stars? Two reasons: 1. I put it in the shopping cart with the intention of buying it, but it has been there for several days. What do you know, it jumps $5 in price. A little annoying.2. And it's REALLY a problem, for some reason it doesn't make WiFi calls. I connected it to my phone, connected it to the internet and downloaded YouTube. No problem. Then I tried to make wifi calling preferred. I have nothing but my phone line. I switched my phone to Wi-Fi and connected it to a Wi-Fi extender but it didn't work. My phone shows "WiFi Calling" instead of "T-Mobile" but every time I try to make a call it automatically hangs up. I've tried multiple times with multiple numbers. He just doesn't and I don't know why. Booooo, but at least I got a net downstairs. I can't believe I've been walking around with such a crappy signal downstairs for so long when this device is available at such an affordable price. It's definitely worth a try. To me? So far so good, but I literally only have an hour.
