Review on HENCKELS Statement Paring Knife: Sleek 3-inch Black/Stainless Steel Blade for Precision Cutting by Bob Candfield

I bought this item for $10 and at that price I have no complaints. Please note that this knife is very unbalanced. The handle is quite heavy and the blade very light, which I'm not used to from my other knives. There is also no guard at the end of the handle. I like it because I can easily run the whole blade over the sharpening stone; However, unless you are careful or confident in your knife handling skills, I would not recommend this. You're more likely to slip your hand on the blade than on a guarded knife. I hope it came out of the box sharp. Steel has a certain flexibility.
