I have a 2019 Subaru Legacy. every turn signal, brake light and daytime running light are already LEDs on my car. However, the headlights (low beam and high beam) are halogen bulbs. most likely save money. So I actually bought them for cosmetic reasons, I thought the yellow halogens on my car looked horrible with all those white LEDs. I bought an H11 low beam kit and a 9005 high beam kit. rays. I know that the low beams will probably only last a few years (expected lifespan of LED headlights) but I'm hoping that the high beams (due to very limited use) will last the rest of my car's life. Both sets I bought were Sealight Laxmas. These H11 are the version without the dangling box/key connector. Your car's wiring connects directly to the wiring without this little intermediate box. This is a more compact design that most people will probably prefer. What I didn't expect was such a significant improvement in brightness and visibility. They work better day and night (pun intended) than traditional incandescent bulbs. Wider view, you can see farther and much clearer. They are also brighter and the white light interacts much better with painted road markings, reflectors and reflective signs than older halogen bulbs. You will be amazed at how many road signs actually glow and shine when illuminated by the light from these bulbs. HUGE improvement. Installation is as easy as installing any bulb - on my Subaru it only took a few minutes. Unscrew/twist old, pull out and pull out, connect new, align tabs on housing, insert, twist/screw. Your results will vary depending on your car's hand clearance under the hood near the bulb terminals, but the installation is similar to installing any other headlight bulb. So far I haven't had a problem with them being "too bright". for oncoming traffic (they won't shine too brightly if properly installed/aligned). In combination with high beam, the brightness decreases, but you should not point your high beam at oncoming traffic. The only lag I have is the noise the fans make. If your engine is running, you'll never hear them. But when you park your car and turn off the ignition, you'll immediately notice the hum of the fans coming from the engine bay. The amount of times I use my headlights without the ignition on is probably once or twice a year, so it doesn't matter to me. But if you use your car's headlights in any way while the engine is off, fan noise may be a problem for you. I am so happy with my purchase that I got 5 stars across the board. What I can't measure is durability, but I'll update this if they fail prematurely and need to be replaced.
