But I'm not sure because I'm buying these to break down my yarn stash into project sizes. Gallon bag holds 3 x 100 gr. Strands are comfortable and 4 strands are a bit tight but the zipper is easy to pull. 5 strands is a lot. I WANT A 1.5 GALLON SIZE! 2 gallons is too much for most projects. But I also want the HALF GALLON size. I used to buy marinade bags but they seem to be discontinued. Too bad because they are perfect for 2 balls and a pattern. But I digress. The plastic denier is strong, not flimsy like cheaper zippered counterparts, and the zipper is well designed so you can close it as many times as you like. These bags are designed for many uses and to last for many years. Just don't use them as a substitute for freezer bags. There is a special bag for this.
