Carbon 2028 Pro Eheim

I would recommend it to anyone who can afford it. I mainly use them when the operation is over or when my fish are stressed and I need immediate results. Remember these pads last 2 weeks and then throw away. They are very expensive and I often only carry one box with me as an emergency. I prefer the same type in the white version as you can use 3 from top to bottom. I use a blue border at the bottom, a white border in the middle, and most importantly, I use a second white border that is the same shape as mine. They are very heavy when filled with water so I prefer to forego carbon spacers whenever possible and use something else that can last 3 months between replacements. I've had two 2028 Eheim Pro models with heaters and thermostats, and thermostats always wear out. After 20 years of owning eheim products I am currently doing a fitting. I can't afford it today, but the fact that they have new models and you can add almost any product to their cart makes them my favorite custom setup to this day. Great for bacteria to settle in and even break down nitrates, as well as dangerous nitrites which I've never had, and last but not least, horrible ammonia. I use a quick release python and try to do as many water changes as possible to avoid expensive purchases like these carbon pads. Today I get the white ones again, which go on top of every basket. Much luck. Maybe the price will drop a few bucks like we all think and then I'll start buying these Eheim charcoal filter pads.
